About Us

Arthur Jackson & Co have operated as Rotherham solicitors since 1910. We have served South Yorkshire and wider areas for over a century, with the current partnership, between Neil Oliver and Mark Thomas, being formed in 1983. Thanks to our highly qualified, and experienced, team of representatives we are able to offer our clients a full range of legal services.

Our Rotherham solicitors hold various accreditations under the Law Society, including their Conveyancing Quality Accreditation and Family Law Accreditation. In addition to this, we hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide Family Law services and offer legal aid, in specific scenarios, for Family Law matters.

The main office, in Rotherham town centre, is host to a large amount of our operations but should you need to see one of our Rotherham solicitors, you can also do so in our Wickersley office. If you’re unable to make it to either of our offices we also offer appointments in our clients own home, or other locations that work best for you. If you need an appointment our usual opening hours are between 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. We understand that for many people it is difficult to be free to visit a solicitor during these hours. Due to this, in these situations, we are available for appointments outside of our normal opening hours upon request.

As our client, you come first, and you should always feel free to let us know how we can best provide you the service you need, whether that is by visiting with you outside of our offices, or if you prefer to communicate by e-mail instead of through the telephone, just let us know.
